Classroom Management at Church

    This site is designed for volunteer teachers in a Christian education setting.  I am a certified elementary educator who has taught in a public school system for 15+ years.  I have also been married to a minister for 34 years.  I have taught Kindergarten 1st and 2nd grades and have experience teaching and directing Sunday School, VBS, Junior Church and Youth Group.
   
    I was asked by the Sunday School Director in my local church (Cherokee United Methodist) to teach a workshop for volunteer teachers in our local congregation and this website is the result of my exploration, experiences, and practical knowledge.  I am by no means an expert and I know there are many views on the subject.  I only hope this will help a few teachers who are looking for answers while striving to spread God's Word to children and youth.  God bless!
